Tips For Layering For Fall
I hate the cold weather, but having such cute pieces to layer with makes it a more bearable. I've always been a fan of layering during the colder seasons - it's the perfect way to keep yourself warm and stylish.
Here are a few simple tips to help get you through layering season.
1. Don't be afraid to mix prints. Layering is all about mixing prints and having fun! I paired this star cardigan and flower button down together because they even themselves out. When you decided the base for your layering, go through you wardrobe and find pieces that can bring out a certain color in your base or will simply just even it out.
2. Layering doesn't always mean a shirt and cardigan. My favorite thing about layering is you get to keep your summer dresses in your wardrobe all year long. What I personally do to transfer my summer dresses into fall is I layer them with a sweater that tones the colors down. For example, if I'm wearing a green dress with pink flowers I'll grab a grey sweater and black booties.
3. Have fun with it! My favorite tip of all. Fashion should always be fun and thoughts like "people might look at me weird if I wear this" should never run through your head when getting ready. Wear what makes you happy and feel confident wearing it :)
